Field Sales Executive

Job Title: Sales Executive – Paint Industry Location: Ahmedabad Department: Sales Reports to: Area Sales Manager / Sales Head Experience: 2–5 years in Paint/Building Materials/Construction Sales Industry: Paints, Wall Textures, Construction Chemicals Job Summary:We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to drive B2B sales of decorative paints, primers, emulsions, and textures to contractors, project developers, and paint dealers. The ideal candidate should have strong field sales experience in the paint or construction material industry and must be capable of building strong relationships and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:1. Contractor & Project SalesIdentify and approach painting contractors, builders, architects, and interior designers. Pitch paint solutions for new and ongoing construction projects. Provide site demos and product presentations to influence product selection. Monitor site progress and ensure timely material supply and technical support. Build long-term relationships with project influencers to ensure repeat business. 2. Dealer Channel SalesAppoint and manage paint dealers and retailers in assigned territory. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through dealer orders. Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper merchandising at dealer points. Monitor dealer performance and support them with marketing collateral and schemes. Resolve dealer issues regarding pricing, payments, and deliveries. 3. Reporting & CoordinationMaintain daily field reports, CRM updates, and visit logs. Coordinate with logistics, accounts, and technical teams for smooth execution. Keep track of competitors’ products, pricing, and market activities. Key Skills Required:Strong communication and negotiation skills Knowledge of paint products, textures, and coatings Existing network with contractors and dealers is a strong advantage Target-driven and self-motivated Comfortable with fieldwork and travel Qualifications:Graduate (any stream); MBA or diploma in marketing/sales preferred 2–5 years experience in Paints / Building Materials / Construction Sales Compensation:Fixed salary + Travel allowance + Incentives based on targets
