Job Description

Key Locations:

Maharashtra

Key Purpose:

1. Develop Rural Network for BFC Supply Pvt Ltd through appointment of Rural Franchisees / Rural Service Providers to act as Biomass Banks

2. Local Market mapping, and local area sales planning

3. Ensure & improve the participation of stakeholders on the platform for Biomass Banks operations.

4. Ensure platform becomes the decision maker for operations.

Create an ecosystem which will lead towards self-sustaining operational model.

Role & responsibilities:

Rural Network Development & Sales

  1. Scout for suitable Network partners in operating areas defined as area of responsibility.
  2. Select, appoint, on-board and train Rural network partners.
  3. Work with Network partner to create seasonal business plan.
  4. Implement local procurement and sales price plan.

Aggregation

  1. Monthly, Weekly & Daily scheduling, planning on platform.
  2. Updating offers, creating deals and deliveries.
  3. Ensuring invoice verification after due diligence of debits.
  4. Machine deployment plan, season understanding, modifications in the machinery prior to the season.

Rural Network Development operations part

  1. Awareness of partner model and keeping training, certification program paced up to the desired level. Creating a plan for the season as a part of readiness.
  2. Understand and remove the bottlenecks in the aggregation, logistics and promoters daily tasks to ensure participation.
  3. Maintain positive work environment at Biomass Banks.
  4. Lead the operations and utilization of platform.
  5. Maintain the data sanctity.
  6. Awareness Creation and Promotion of BFC Supply Pvt Ltd. Offerings to various participants such as Aggregators/ big farmers/ SHGs/FPOs/Transport or Equipment Owners.
  7. The participants to be targeted include farmers, rural enterprises (individuals, groups of people via FPOs/SHGs, or any other entities), Tractor and Trolley Operators who would rent the same on the platform, post-harvest equipment renters like Slashers, Shredders, Balers etc., Warehouse operators.

Preferred candidate profile:

  1. Direct / Indirect operations in Rural/Agricultural Space
  2. Agri Tech / Farm Sector product company
  3. Local Culture, Knowledge and Influencers
  4. 0-5 years (Freshers can also apply)
  5. Ability to create and manage relationships
  6. Ability to do concept sales, Exposure to dealing with Farmers / FPOs/ other rural business entities
  7. Understanding of internet-based platforms.
  8. Ability to build Trust
  9. Agri Sciences/ Rural Business
  10. Strong written and verbal communication skills in local language
  11. Knowledge of Local language is a must
  12. Assertive and friendly
  13. Relationship focus
