Planning Engineer - SCM

Name of Position : Engineer SCM
1.Job Objective :- Candidate need to be a strong link between the customer, plant & procurement team. Responsible for order processing, MIS, data simulations, preparing & setting up masters.

2.Key Role & Responsibilities :- 1.Prepare master setups, maintain per dynamic visibility. 2.Generate manufacturing plan while taking care of customer needs, prioritize the same per demands & capacity constraints. 3.Receive the demands, orders, forecast consolidate & transform into mfg. plan. 4.Ensure BOM availability for weekly & monthly demands along with the procurement team. 5.Coordinate with other departments project, Operations, sales for order fulfillment & escalate in case of gap if any. 6.Co-ordinate with the customers, logistics team & ensure timely delivery. Very good at interpersonal skills, needs to co-ordinate among overseas teams.

3.Qualification & Experience Required :- Candidate should be Engineering Graduate BE Mech/ Prod. with 2 to 4 years of experience in PPC/ planning/ logistics taking care of following responsibilities. 1.Experience in an engineering industry / auto ancillary / ITE's 2.Must have working knowledge of the demand driven planning. 3.Working knowledge of a reputed ERP into S&D. 4.He/ she should be able to handle large amount of data. 5.Expertise in Advanced Excel, Pivot table, H-Lookup & V-Lookup, macros etc.

4.Personal Characteristic :- Good analytical skills, good interpretation of diverse data. Communication skills (Verbal & Written) Inter-personal skills & Repo building. Should be good at numbers, need to take decision based on factual data. Well-organized, highly efficient, keen eye for detail.
