The Auditor is responsible for conducting periodic market research in retail outlets, including neighborhood stores, minimarkets, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The role involves stock counting, purchase verification, and data collection using electronic devices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit designated retail outlets as per the assigned schedule and within defined timelines
- Collect accurate data on stock levels and purchases across specified product categories
- Ensure data collection aligns with Global and Regional SOP standards
- Meet operational KPIs and quality benchmarks consistently
- Communicate any changes in visit plans to the QCT Executive or COE promptly
- Recruit and maintain cooperation with store owners and staff to meet panel objectives
- Build and sustain positive relationships with shopkeepers
- Report any cooperation issues (e.g., ownership changes, renovations, refusals) to the QCT Executive
- Uphold integrity and confidentiality in data handling and reporting
- Maintain administrative records as required
- Execute special instructions from monthly trip guidelines (e.g., ad hoc projects, fee structure changes)
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: High school graduate
- Prior experience in retail or market research preferred
- Strong integrity and ethical standards
- Proficient with smartphones and electronic devices
- Comfortable with data collection and reporting
- Good communication skills and a pleasant demeanor
- Detail-oriented with a curious mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team player with a collaborative attitude
- Physically active and adaptable to field conditions
- Basic proficiency in Business English is a plus
- Must own a two-wheeler and be willing to travel across Bangalore
- Must be fluent in Kannada (local language)
- Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and environments
- Capable of navigating diverse retail settings and engaging with people for extended perio
