Field Application Engineer – Defence Systems

Our expertise includes the development of antennas, radars, software defined radios (SDR), TR modules, drone detection and jamming systems, and electronic warfare (EW) systems. We focus on meeting the evolving needs of our customers in anti-drone technologies, situational awareness, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems.

Role Description

• Work with the sales and BD teams to provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and system trials for defence clients (Army, Navy, Air Force, Paramilitary).
• Support bid/tender processes with technical inputs and compliance mapping.
• Execute

  on-field deployment, installation, and configuration

  of anti-drone and RF systems in operational environments.
• Integrate solutions with existing defence communication and surveillance infrastructure.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for defence personnel on system operations and maintenance.
• Serve as the

  primary technical contact

  for clients during trials, evaluations, and field operations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during deployment or operations.
• Provide feedback to the engineering team for system enhancements based on field performance.
• Prepare technical reports, test documents, and field trial feedback.
• Maintain updated documentation for client handover and internal records.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in Field Applications and Technical Support
• Knowledge and proficiency in Sales techniques
• Strong background in Analog and Electronics
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in the defense or aerospace industries is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3–7 years of experience in

  field applications, defence projects, or electronic systems integration.

• Prior experience with

  Defence Forces, DRDO, DPSUs, or Defence OEMs

  preferred.
• Familiarity with

  Defence Procurement Procedures (DPP/DAP)

  will be an added advantage.

Key Skill and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  RF-Systems, Jamming Technologies, Electronic Warfare, and Communication Systems.

• Hands-on experience in

  system installation, testing, and field trials.

• Ability to interact with defence customers and handle high-pressure environments.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills for engaging with officers and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India for

  trials, demos, and deployments.
