Job Description

As a Project Lead, you will lead a skilled team in delivering engineering designs for advanced fiber networks while driving operational excellence and process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, manage end-to-end design workflows, and leverage your technical expertise to ensure high-quality outputs for projects like NGM, SXU, and MXU. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and adaptability in a rapidly evolving digital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end network design and drafting processes for fiber networks across multiple platforms, including MXU, NGM, and SXU (Wireline).

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Implement and oversee automation tools such as MXU/SXU and NGM Self-QC to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery without escalations.
  • Review Low Level Designs (LLD) and High Level Designs (HLD) for fiber networks to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
  • Create and update network inventories using ArcGIS and SpatialNet.
  • Draft and maintain AutoCAD drawings for telecom fiber networks.
  • Analyze network requirements and design FTTx/GPON architectures for deployment.
  • Lead the team by conducting daily quality feedback meetings, providing technical training, and mentorship.
  • Prepare team readiness plans for new scopes and upcoming projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers on project-related discussions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and troubleshooting complex challenges.
  • Support recruitment activities, including interview scheduling and candidate evaluations.
  • Maintain accuracy in designs through quality checks and validation processes.
  • Create performance dashboards, project status reports, and metrics for leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce errors.
  • Manage invoicing activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop business cases for new projects and process improvements.
  • Lead and manage team operations to ensure effective performance and delivery.
  • Oversee cost and revenue management to support financial objectives.

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project files, lessons learned, best practices, financials, accruals, and SEP records
