The Factory Manager will oversee the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong leader who can manage both personnel and processes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. Location : GIDC Kuvadva, Rajkot, Gujarat (https://g.co/kgs/UPwJ3E) Industry : Cosmetic, Personal Care & Pharma (External Formulations) Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all aspects of factory operations, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. Lead and develop a team of supervisors and operators to achieve production targets. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor production metrics and report on performance to senior management. Develop training programs for staff to improve skills and performance. Collaborate with other departments such as logistics, supply chain, and maintenance to ensure seamless operations. Conduct regular assessments of equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed. Create budgets for operational expenditures and monitor spending to ensure cost-effectiveness. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a factory management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance methodologies, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving common objectives. Proficient in data analysis tools and software relevant to manufacturing operations. Preferred Qualifications: Pharmacy / Chemistry or advanced degree in a related field is preferred. CMP certification or similar credentials are advantageous. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
