About the Role

Failed Part Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate failed parts from production, testing, or field returns.
  • Perform root cause analysis .
  • Prepare reports on findings, highlight trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and production teams on corrective actions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for process, material, or design improvements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/ Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in failure analysis, quality control, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in automotive, aerospace, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or statistical analysis.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time role; may require occasional overtime for urgent investigations.
  • Work involves both office/lab analysis and shop-floor/manufacturing exposure.
