Factory Manager

As an experienced Factory Manager, your role involves overseeing and managing the entire garment production process to ensure timely delivery, maintain quality standards, and efficiently plan production. You will collaborate with internal departments and keep the Managing Director updated throughout the process. Your key responsibilities include: - Planning, managing, and monitoring day-to-day production activities - Handling manpower planning, shift scheduling, and meeting productivity targets - Coordinating with the Merchandising team for order planning, pricing approvals, and delivery timelines - Monitoring production efficiency, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions - Tracking fabric & trim availability to prevent production delays - Controlling rejections, reworks, and quality issues - Maintaining clear communication with all departments To excel in this role, you must have: - Strong leadership and people management skills - Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, especially knits - Ability to work under pressure - Good coordination and communication skills - Familiarity with production tracking systems/ERP (considered an added advantage) Compliance with standard operating procedures, providing regular updates and reports to the Managing Director, and handling supplier visits to ensure smooth operations are also critical aspects of your responsibilities.
