Factory Head

Factory head's roles duties core responsibilities are overseeing all aspects of manufacturing to ensure efficient, safe, and profitable operations, including production planning and scheduling, quality control, budget and cost management, staff leadership and training, maintenance of equipment and facilities, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They also drive continuous improvement initiatives and communicate with other departments and senior management to achieve operational goals.

Production & Operations ManagementProduction Planning: Develop and manage production plans, schedules, and forecasts to meet demand and deadlines. Resource Allocation: Oversee the efficient allocation of resources, including labor, machinery, and raw materials.

Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, productivity, and reduce waste through strategies like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure smooth production flow. Quality & ComplianceQuality Control: Implement and monitor quality standards and processes to ensure products meet customer specifications and established quality goals.

Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure a safe, clean, and healthy work environment and compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to and ensure the facility conforms to local, provincial, and federal government regulations.

Leadership & Staff ManagementTeam Leadership: Lead and motivate the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Staff Development: Oversee the training and development of staff to enhance team competencies. Communication: Liaise with other managers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
