As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a Facilities Assistant Manager to join our Operations team.

As a Facilities Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all facility-related services at Kwalee. You will work closely with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to maintain a safe, clean, and productive workplace that supports our employees needs.

This is a permanent role based in our Bangalore studio, where our daily in-office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities:
    • Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including cleaning, maintenance, security, and corporate apartments.
    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective services.
    • Support budgeting, track expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
    • Oversee maintenance and repair activities to minimise disruptions.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and functional workplace in collaboration with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
    • Monitor and manage inventory of facility assets and supplies.
    • Assist in optimising office layouts and accommodating new hires.
    • Supervise facility team members and support their training and development.
    • Contribute to sustainability initiatives, such as energy-saving and waste-reduction programs.
    • Support facility-related projects, renovations, and space redesign.
    • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing facility-related needs promptly.
    • Maintain records, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement in facility operations.

Requirements:
    • At least 6+ years of experience in facilities management within MNCs or the hospitality sector.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and other relevant tools/software.
    • Experience in vendor management and soft services, with exposure to technical aspects of facilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Based in our Bangalore office with 5 days per week on-site.
