Role Overview

The Senior Operations Manager (SOM) will be responsible for leading and driving business operations across multiple programs/sites. The role requires strategic planning, strong client relationship management, team leadership, and performance delivery to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned LOBs/processes, ensuring SLA/KPI adherence and process excellence.
  • Manage and mentor a large span of AMs, OMs, and TLs across multiple functions/sites.
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to align on business goals, strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making, automation, and process re-engineering.
  • Monitor financial performance, including P&L responsibility, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Implement governance models for regular business reviews with clients and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards.
  • Champion employee engagement, learning, and development initiatives to build high-performing teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 1216 years of experience in international BPO/KPO operations.
  • Minimum 4–5 years in a leadership role handling large teams (500+ span).
  • Strong expertise in managing multiple clients, geographies, and business verticals.
  • Proven track record in delivering on KPIs such as CSAT, NPS, Quality, and Efficiency.
  • P&L management, business transitions, and client governance experience is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exposure to Lean/Six Sigma preferred.
  • Flexible with 24/7 shift environment and ability to travel if required.

Preferred Attributes

  • Exposure to BFSI, Healthcare, Travel, or Technology domains.
  • Experience in handling multi-site/global delivery.
  • Certification in Six Sigma/Project Management will be an added advantage.
