Job Description

Roles And Responsibilities Production Planning &Supervision  Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication operations to meet production schedules.  Ensure proper allocation of manpower, materials, and machinery.  Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Quality Control &Inspection  Conduct inspections to ensure fabricated components meet quality and dimensional standards.  Work with the quality assurance team to address any deviations or defects.  Ensure compliance with welding standards (AWS, ASME) and fabrication procedures. Process Optimization & Efficiency  Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.  Monitor fabrication techniques, cutting, welding, and assembly processes.  Reduce material waste and improve production efficiency. Safety & Compliance  Enforce workplace safety regulations and PPE usage.  Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for the fabrication team.  Ensure adherence to OSHA and industry-specific safety standards. Team Leadership &Workforce Management  Supervise a team of welders, fabricators, and machine operators.  Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of work.  Provide training and mentoring to improve employee skills and efficiency. Equipment &Tool Maintenance  Ensure proper operation and maintenance of welding machines, cutting tools, and fabrication equipment.  Coordinate with the maintenance department for repairs and servicing.  Maintain inventory of tools, consumables, and raw materials. Reporting &Documentation  Maintain records of production output, material usage, and quality reports.  Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.  Coordinate with the procurement and logistics team for material availability.
