Hiring: Senior Manager Fabric Sourcing (Buying House)

Fabric Sourcing Professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain a strong supplier base across India and international markets.
  
• Source woven, knit, and specialty fabrics as per buyer and product requirements.
  
• Conduct market research on new fabric trends, mills, and innovations.
  
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and MOQs to ensure competitive costing.
  
• Coordinate closely with merchandising, design, and production teams for smooth execution.
  
• Oversee fabric development, sampling, and testing processes.
  
• Troubleshoot sourcing challenges and ensure timely delivery aligned with production timelines.
  

Key Requirements:

• Minimum

  12 years of experience

  in Fabric Sourcing within a

  Buying House / Export House

  .
• Strong knowledge of mills, sourcing hubs, and a wide range of fabric types (knits, wovens, linens, denims, blends, etc.).
  
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
  
• Sound understanding of quality parameters, fabric testing, and compliance standards.
  
• Ability to manage multiple categories and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
