Job Summary: Lifesciences commercial analytics _ senior manager

Experience: 15 years +

We are seeking an experienced commercial analytics leader to enhance our life sciences team's capabilities. The role encompasses various aspects of commercial excellence, commercial strategy in the US, EU and other global markets. This role requires a deep understanding of the US healthcare landscape, pharmaceutical data sources, and the ability to deliver insights that inform commercial strategy and execution.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Define & Execute delivery strategy for business systems, platforms and processes for a particular Business domain / Function. Partner with senior business stakeholders and Strategic Business Partners for demand
  • Analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, and funding estimates for operations / projects. Partner with relevant Solutions Delivery teams to ensure that the product and platform strategy balances the sophisticated needs of Key Markets, need for reuse across other priority markets and cost effectively scale at speed to remaining midsize/small markets.
  • Ensure on time within budget compliant secure and quality delivery of portfolio for responsible function / service area. Ensure services solutions platforms products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact. Run efficient DevOps for platforms, products, or systems ensuring availability and optimal performance for responsible function / service area.
  • Establish governance structure for projects, operations, etc. with right stakeholder representation.
  • Track, report and deliver against agreed success factors and SLAs/ KPIs for various stakeholders for responsible function / service area. Follow industry trends and emerging practices to drive agility, speed, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensure the overall user experience is considered when designing deploying new solutions and services.

  • Ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures. Execute problem management and drive identification of root causes as well as sufficient prevention of recurrences
  • Govern underpinning IT services in the delivery and support of the IT application.
  • Manage application lifecycle management, application data consistency, portfolio optimization and continual improvements
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives using the latest technology stack

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in pharma commercial projects related to connected channels optimization, sales force effectiveness, commercial operations etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
  • Digital & Technology Savvy.
  • Expertise in Operational Excellence & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Strong understanding of US healthcare data sources
  • People leadership – both on achieving goals and development.
  • Ability to bring in industry leading ideas and perspectives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner
  • Proven ability to manage projects independently and deliver results under tight deadlines

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's degree
  • An MBA (in Pharma/healthcare/general) is preferred but not mandatory.
