EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – Data Quality & Profiling Specialist
We’re seeking a skilled professional with strong expertise in data quality and profiling, possessing proven delivery capability. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading firm and contribute to a growing Data and Analytics team focused on ensuring high-quality, reliable data assets.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead data quality assessment and profiling initiatives to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and anomalies across multiple systems.
- Define, implement, and monitor data quality standards, policies, and metrics aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with data owners, stewards, and engineering teams to remediate data quality issues and drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and automate data quality validation processes using industry-leading tools like Collibra, Ataccama, and Manta.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and reporting of data quality status, trends, and remediation activities for stakeholders at all levels.
- Support and enhance enterprise data governance programs by embedding strong data quality practices and promoting data stewardship.
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Experience: 3 to 8 years
- Hands-on experience with data quality and profiling tools such as Collibra, Ataccama, and Manta
- Strong knowledge of data quality concepts, techniques, and best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data profiling queries and scripting
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management
- Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and big data environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills, able to effectively engage technical and business stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments (preferable)
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Be a computer science graduate or equivalent with 3 to 8 years of industry experience
- Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-grade data quality solutions and initiatives
- Ability to translate complex data quality challenges into scalable technical solutions considering security, performance, and compliance
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal)
- Experience in client management and stakeholder engagement
