External Shifter System Technical Expertise

As an experienced candidate with a deep understanding of external shifter systems in the Automotive Industry, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Perform detailed testing of external shifter systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality. - Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols. - Prepare a detailed validation plan in line with project requirements and stakeholder alignment. - Engage in discussions with various departments such as Engineering, Quality, After Sales, Manufacturing Plants, both within the company and globally, to address technical, planning, cost, and quality aspects of projects. - Analyze customer complaints and provide technical solutions in line with engineering and process requirements. - Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive reports. - Collaborate closely with design engineers to offer insights and suggestions for design enhancements. - Assist in the development of new external shifter system concepts. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to external shifter systems. - Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations in external shifter system technology. - Organize and lead meetings, create presentations, and document meeting minutes effectively. - Handle tasks such as creating Purchase Requests (PR), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), technical discussions with suppliers, and negotiations. - Prepare and submit root cause investigation reports for field issues and alignment. - Maintain data related to test reports, standard operating procedures (SOP) acceptance, supplier inspections, etc. Your skill set should include: - Team management and stakeholder management abilities. - Minimum of 12 years of experience in the Automotive Industry and Drivetrain products. - Proficiency in soft skills such as presentations, meetings, emails, and interactions with global teams. - Hands-on experience with external shifter systems encompassing product knowledge, assembly, testing, root cause analysis (RCA), integration on vehicles, and instrumentation. - Strong driving skills, experience in data acquisition, interpretation, and reporting with conclusions. - Ability to multitask in a high-pressure work environment, collaborate as a team player, and prioritize tasks effectively. - Proficiency in testing at both bench and vehicle levels, along with measurement and analysis. - Knowledge of materials, processes, test benches, vehicles, and various types of sensors.,
