Key Responsibilities: Monitor project planning and deliverables, defining and applying action plans to meet targets. Create and update block models of vehicle flows , process-specific simulations , and logistics flow simulations based on input data from EE VPE teams and Stellantis standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation , including presentations, simulation models, spreadsheets, and video files. Handover results, models, and simulations to the EE simulation team. Summarize and report activities to EE VPE leads. Collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, and plant staff to ensure seamless execution of projects. Key Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of in-plant logistics and vehicle flow . Understanding of vehicle shop production processes, maintenance, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Expertise in process and discrete event flow simulation , including dynamic simulations with random failures . Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. The Paint Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing paint and coating processes within the manufacturing environment. This role requires expertise in paint application systems, troubleshooting, quality control, and continuous improvement processes to ensure high-quality finishes on products while maintaining efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. Job Responsibilities: 1. Process Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and optimize paint processes for high-quality finishes, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Conduct process analysis and identify areas for improvement in application methods, equipment, and materials. Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to develop new coatings and improve existing processes. 2. Paint Application Systems: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of paint application equipment (spray booths, robotic painting systems, etc.). Implement and manage automated or manual painting techniques for optimal product appearance and durability. 3. Quality Control: Continuously evaluate and optimize both phosphating and electroplating processes to improve quality, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Monitor and evaluate paint quality, including color matching, film thickness, adhesion, and surface smoothness. Conduct tests to validate paint performance (e.g., corrosion resistance, UV stability). Troubleshoot defects and work with production teams to ensure corrective actions are taken. 4. Process Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for all painting processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and troubleshooting guides. Track and analyze process data to ensure consistency and identify trends. 5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards related to coatings and paint processes. Promote and enforce safe working practices and procedures in the paint shop, including handling chemicals, PPE use, and ventilation systems. 6. Training & Support: Provide technical support and training to production staff on paint processes, equipment, and quality standards. Act as a point of contact for resolving technical issues and providing solutions to process challenges. 7. Project Management: Lead or participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving the paint process, reducing costs, and improving quality. Manage paint process development timelines, resources, and deliverables for new product introductions or process changes. Job Specification: Qualification: B-Tech/B.E in Chemical Engineering , Materials Science , or Mechanical Engineering . Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience. Competencies: a) Technical: Extensive experience in paint application processes, preferably in automotive , aerospace , or industrial coatings . Strong knowledge of paint chemistry , application methods (spray, dip, etc.), and related equipment. Experience with automated painting systems , robotic painting, and CAD software for designing painting processes is a plus. Strong background in lean manufacturing , risk management , and quality tools. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 , TS16949 , or similar certifications. Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications are a plus. b) Behavioral: Good Communication Skills . Purpose of the Role: The CAD Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing process automation for Digital Manufacturing tools and processes. This role will serve as a key problem solver, helping to address complex business challenges through automationfrom strategy formulation to execution. The engineer will collaborate with various VPE teams and stakeholders to understand and document process requirements, while exploring automation possibilities to reduce Non-Value Added (NVA) activities and improve efficiency. Job Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions using technologies such as VBA , .NET , Java , or Python (must have strong scripting skills). Automate applications like CATIA , NX , Teamcenter , Enovia , Excel , and SharePoint . Strong knowledge of SQL and MS Access databases; experience with other databases is a plus. Leverage AI, machine learning, and data science to explore automation opportunities at scale. Experience developing APIs is required. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand process requirements and document them. Analyze existing business processes to identify automation opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to define automation workflows. Conduct detailed testing of automation solutions to identify and resolve issues. Experience in BDD frameworks , Test Automation , and API microservices automation scripting is required.
