Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Communication

  • Handle inbound & outbound export inquiries from global customers, export houses & traders.
  • Share product details, quotations, proforma invoices & follow up for lead conversion.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate sample dispatch and updates with production & quality teams.

Export Documentation & Coordination

  • Prepare commercial documentation including PI, Packing List, COA, Purchase Orders, etc.
  • Coordinate with CHA, freight forwarders, and logistics agencies for timely shipments.
  • Assist in LC documentation, customs formalities, and post-shipment paperwork.
  • Maintain compliance with export policies and regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Market Support

  • Track and update export order status in ERP/MIS reports.
  • Conduct online market research for new leads and business opportunities.
  • Share competitor insights, pricing trends, and region-wise sales performance.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication skills (written & spoken English mandatory).
  • Good knowledge of export documentation &

    Incoterms

  • Familiarity with international logistics, CHA coordination & LC requirements.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email etiquette).
  • Strong follow-up, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in analysing exporter and importer data from international markets to identify potential buyers and target regions for product sales.

  • Strong knowledge of global payment terms (e.g., LC, DP, DA, TT, Advance Payment) and a solid understanding of international trade practices and market compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in International Business/Commerce/Business Administration
  • PG Diploma in Import-Export / MBA in IB preferred
  • Experience:

    3-6 years in export sales or back-office export operations
