Export Executive

• Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies governing the export of goods

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of export control requirements and keep abreast of changes that may impact the company’s ability to export

• Work with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with export regulations

• Prepare and submit required documentation to government agencies in a timely and accurate manner

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and other service providers to arrange for the safe and compliant transport of goods

• Monitor shipments to ensure they are delivered in accordance with customer specifications and timelines

• Investigate and resolve issues related to non-compliance, damaged goods, or other problems

• Keep accurate records of all transactions and maintain an organized filing system

• Generate reports on export activity as needed

• Assist with the development and implementation of export compliance training programs

• Collaborate with other departments to develop and improve export processes

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Coordinating with customs brokers to ensure that paperwork is handled correctly, including filing forms with federal agencies such as the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection or the Internal Revenue Service

• Preparing bills of lading and commercial invoices

• Preparing international shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, insurance certificates, and invoices

• Keeping track of shipments to ensure that they arrive on time at their destination

• Negotiating settlement of customs duties, taxes, and fines with government officials on behalf of the company

• Coordinating with other departments within the company to ensure that import/export documentation is completed properly

• Helping the Company to identify new markets and customers for the products in foreign countries

• Communicating with foreign customs agencies to arrange for inspections, clearances, and delivery of shipments to their final destination

• Coordinating with brokers, freight forwarders, and other third parties to arrange shipments of goods between countries
