Role Overview: As a Sales and Operations Manager in the travel industry, your primary responsibility will be to develop and convert leads for both domestic and international tour packages. You will be tasked with preparing customized itineraries and quotations tailored to meet the specific requirements of clients. Meeting monthly and annual sales targets set by management is crucial, as well as maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and walk-in customers. It will be your duty to upsell additional travel services such as insurance, visa assistance, flights, hotels, and add-on tours to enhance the overall travel experience for clients. Following up with clients post-tour for feedback and future referrals is also an essential part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and convert leads for domestic and international tour packages - Prepare customized itineraries and quotations for clients - Meet monthly and annual sales targets - Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and walk-in customers - Upsell additional travel services to enhance the overall travel experience - Follow up with clients post-tour for feedback and referrals - Coordinate with vendors for various arrangements including hotel bookings, transportation, sightseeing, guides, etc. - Ensure smooth execution of tours by preparing necessary tour documents, vouchers, and confirmations - Manage pre-tour briefings, post-tour reports, and handle on-tour emergencies efficiently - Liaise with accounts and documentation teams for invoicing and compliance Qualifications Required: - Strong product knowledge of domestic and international destinations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Good negotiation and vendor management abilities - Proficiency in MS Office, GDS (preferred), and travel CRM tools - Strong time management and multi-tasking skills - Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or Business Management - Minimum of 16 years of experience in sales and operations within a reputable travel company - Experience in handling both FIT and group tours will be advantageous (Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description),
