Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the entire returns process, including receiving returned products, processing refunds, exchanges, or repairs. Additionally, you will maintain accurate inventory records, address customer inquiries related to returns, ensure policy compliance, identify areas for process improvement, analyze return data, communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors, manage reverse logistics, and produce reports and statistics regularly. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the entire returns process, from receiving returned products to processing refunds, exchanges, or repairs. - Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring returned items are properly identified, assessed, and either restocked or disposed of according to company policy. - Address customer inquiries and concerns related to returns, providing clear and helpful communication. - Ensure all returns processes adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations. - Identify areas for improvement in the returns process, implementing strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs. - Track and analyze return data to identify trends, assess performance, and make data-driven decisions. - Effectively communicate with internal teams (e.g., warehouse, customer service) and external vendors regarding returns. - Manage the return of defective or damaged items to vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective returns. - Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc). Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with customers and resolving issues. - Strong understanding of inventory control principles and procedures. - Accuracy and thoroughness are crucial for managing returns and maintaining accurate records. - Ability to identify and resolve issues related to returns, ensuring a positive customer experience. - Ability to analyze data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions. - Familiarity with relevant software systems, such as warehouse management systems (WMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems. - Previous experience in returns management, warehouse operations, or customer service is highly desirable. - A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is often preferred.
