Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef located in Rourkela. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, lead and inspire the culinary team, and design innovative menus that align with YAVIS's reputation for excellence. Daily responsibilities include managing food preparation and presentation, ensuring quality control and consistency, and maintaining inventory and cost controls. The role also includes implementing food safety standards and fostering a collaborative, high-performing kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in menu development, culinary innovation, and preparing multi-cuisine dishes
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and inspire kitchen staff
• Proficiency in food preparation, presentation, and quality control
• Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory management, and cost control
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Culinary degree or certification from an accredited institution is preferred
• Prior experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in a fine dining establishment is a plus
