Executive Chef Discover Resorts, Karjat

Discover Resorts, Karjat (250 rooms) is looking for an Executive Chef (Age: 40-50) to lead its culinary operations.

The resort features 2 kitchens, a pantry & bar, a food court, 3 restaurants, 4 banquet spaces, and a convention centre. We host 10,000 guests every month serving 40,000 meals across multiple cuisines.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day operations across restaurants, banquets, and convention catering.
Design and implement innovative, cost-efficient menus.
Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
Manage food costs, kitchen budgets, and inventory.
Mentor and motivate a large culinary team.
Ensure compliance with HACCP/FSSAI standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts.
10-15 years progressive culinary experience with at least 5 years as an Executive Chef.
Proven ability to handle banquets/events of 1,000+ guests.
Strong leadership, analytical, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of excel is important.
Age: 40-50 years; Cruise liner industry experience preferred.
