JEEVIKA is India’s largest state-level women’s socio-economic empowerment program, working directly with 1.30 crore families in rural Bihar. It is one of the flagship programs for poverty alleviation of the Government of Bihar. The program promotes a three-tier community architecture involving “Self-Help Groups,” “Village Organisations,” and “Cluster-Level Federations.” JEEVIKA, started in 2007, operates under the Department of Rural Development and has been designated as the State Rural Livelihoods Mission to scale up poverty alleviation efforts in Bihar.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Assistant, located in Darbhanga. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the executive team, preparing expense reports, managing executive schedules, and facilitating communication within the organization. Day-to-day tasks include handling executive administrative assistance, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications

Executive Administrative Assistance and Administrative Assistance skills
Experience in preparing Expense Reports and providing Executive Support
Strong Communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in office management software and tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Experience in the rural development sector would be a plus
