Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support Manage and prioritize the Head's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments. Prepare and organize meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and minutes. Handle confidential correspondence and documentation with professionalism. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other documents as required. Patient Care Coordination Oversee daily operations within patient care units, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Assess patient needs, provide guidance, and resolve any issues or concerns they may have. Evaluate patient feedback and implement strategies to improve patient experience. Monitor patient progress and communicate with medical staff, updating them on any changes or concerns. Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with relevant healthcare regulations. Communication & Liaison Serve as the primary point of contact between the Head and internal/external stakeholders. Facilitate communication between departments, ensuring timely and effective information flow. Handle patient inquiries and concerns, directing them to the appropriate personnel when necessary. Assist in organizing events, workshops, and training sessions related to patient care services. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, confidentiality guidelines, and ethical standards in all administrative and patient care activities. Assist in monitoring and evaluating patient care quality metrics. Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the department. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an administrative role within a healthcare setting, preferably in patient care services. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. Working Conditions Full-time position with standard working hours. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for special projects or events. Based at [Hospital/Healthcare Facility Name], with potential travel to affiliated locations as needed.
