Event Planner / Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and highly organized Event Planner / Manager / Operation Manager- Corporate/Online aggregator Catering to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of events, including budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for attendees. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and produce events while managing all project delivery elements within time limits and budgets. Liaise with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction. Research vendors (catering, decorators, entertainment, etc.) and negotiate contracts. Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, invitations, transportation, equipment, and staffing. Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accurate tracking. Supervise and provide leadership to event staff and volunteers. Create detailed event plans, timelines, and task lists. Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes. Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations. Promote events through appropriate channels (e.g., social media, email, media partners). Manage on-site operations during events, handling issues as they arise. Requirements:Proven experience as an Event Planner or Event Manager / OM (5+ years preferred). Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Trello, Asana, MS Office, Eventbrite). Knowledge of vendor management and contract negotiations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Event Planning (e.g., CMP, CSEP) is a plus. Experience with digital/hybrid event platforms. Creative mindset with a problem-solving attitude. Strong network of event vendors and venues. Working Conditions:Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. May require lifting/moving of equipment. Travel may be required depending on event locations.
