Event Manager

Role Overview

• We are looking for an Event Manager with strong experience in event execution, production coordination, client communication, and vendor management
• The ideal candidate should have excellent command over English and Kannada (reading and writing), good presentation skills, and hands-on knowledge of event production, logistics, and on-ground management
• The role requires coordination across weddings, government events, concerts, festivals, and experiential productions, with responsibility for planning, execution, team handling, and ensuring seamless event delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning and ExecutionCoordinate, plan, and execute events end-to-end across multiple formats
• Work closely with production teams, creative teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery
• Create and manage event checklists, schedules, timelines, and briefing documents
• Vendor and Production CoordinationCoordinate with vendors for fabrication, dcor, staging, AV, lighting, sound, logistics, travel, and hospitality
• Ensure production requirements are met according to event specifications and quality standards
• Inspect venue layouts, site readiness, and technical requirements
• Communicate effectively with clients, understand requirements, and provide timely updates
• Prepare event decks, presentations, and reportsOn-Ground ManagementLead on-site rehearsals, vendor setups, and event operations
• Supervise teams, manage last-minute changes, and ensure smooth flow of activities
• Handle crisis situations, troubleshoot issues, and maintain quality control
• Prepare event summaries, production notes, budgets, and execution documents
• Maintain accurate records of vendor costs, approvals, and project timelines

Requirements & Skills

• 3 - 5 years of experience in event management, production, or experiential events
• Good knowledge of English and Kannada (reading & writing)
• Basic MS Office tools and Powerpoint
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of event setups, production processes, and on-ground operations
• Ability to travel and work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
