Senior Director / VP - Finance

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning- Lead the financial strategy, long-term planning, and forecasting across LWP and associated companies.- Develop annual budgets, financial models, and multi-vertical growth plans.- Provide strategic financial insights to support expansion, new business units, and international operations.Financial Operations & Control- Oversee end-to-end finance operations including accounting, payables, receivables, cash flow, and treasury management.- Strengthen internal financial controls, approval processes, and governance frameworks.- Implement standard operating procedures for expenses, procurement, and vendor payments.Taxation, Compliance & Audit- Ensure statutory compliance across GST, TDS, corporate tax, labour laws, and international tax considerations.- Liaise with auditors, legal firms, and government departments.- Oversee timely filing, documentation, and financial reporting.Commercial & Business Support- Support commercial negotiations with vendors, artists, agencies, production houses, and international partners.- Vet all contracts, MoUs, revenue models, and project financials.- Evaluate cost structures for events, concerts, film projects, and cultural programmes.Team Leadership & Development- Build and lead a strong finance and accounts team.- Mentor junior members and strengthen capability across accounting, reporting, and compliance.- Implement tools, systems, and platforms for efficient financial operations.Risk Management & Governance- Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.- Ensure that financial decisions align with LWPs growth vision and ethical governance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

- CA (Inter) / CPA / MBA in Finance or equivalent professional qualification.- 15 - 20+ years of experience in Finance leadership roles.- Strong exposure to entertainment, events, media, production, hospitality, or creative industries (preferred)..- Experience managing multi-entity structures and high-volume project-based financials.- Expertise in taxation, compliance, financial modelling, and commercial negotiations.
