Event Manager

This role involves conceptualisation of an event/ celebrations, Execution, handling logistics, marketing, sponsorships, volunteer management, and ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications:

o Bachelor s/Master s degree in Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

o 3+ years experience in event management

o Knowledge of KPIs and marketing techniques for event management

o Strong project management and organizational skills.

o Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

o Experience working with vendors, sponsors, and external partners.

o Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.

o Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

o Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.

o Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.

Preferred:

o Certification in event planning or sports management.

o Experience with budgeting and financial management for events.

o Knowledge of sports industry trends and fan engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination:

Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and all logistical elements of events.

Coordinate with venues, suppliers, vendors, and staff to ensure the successful execution of events.

Oversee registration, and participant management for events.

Plan and manage events from conception to execution, including pre-event, live-event, and post-event activities.

Sponsorship & Partnerships:

Identify and engage potential sponsors and partners for events and programs.

Negotiate sponsorship agreements and manage relationships with sponsors.

Coordinate branding and activation at events to ensure sponsor visibility.

Marketing & Promotion:

Develop and execute marketing strategies for events (digital, social media, print, etc.).

Create promotional materials and communication strategies to attract participants, attendees, and media.

Collaborate with the PR team to generate media coverage for events.

Volunteer & Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and manage event staff and volunteers.

Assign roles and ensure all teams are well-prepared for the event.

Foster a positive team environment to promote efficiency and success.

Logistics & Operations:

Ensure all event operations are executed smoothly, including transportation, catering, accommodations, and equipment management.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Oversee on-site operations during events, ensuring everything runs according to plan.

Post-Event Analysis:

Analyze event outcomes, gather feedback from participants, sponsors, and staff, and provide post-event reports.

Track event performance metrics, such as attendance, revenue, and participant satisfaction.

Identify areas of improvement and suggest changes for future events.

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various Competition including Music & Dance, School annual day programs and sports events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event management, excellent project management skills, and a strong ability to work with diverse teams.
