Position Overview:

Event & Awareness Program Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Coordination & Scouting

• Identify and reach out to potential schools, retail stores, housing societies, corporates, and local partners for awareness sessions
• Fix appointments, follow up with leads, and maintain an outreach tracker, maintain recycling performance information.
• Assist in organizing logistics for community events, training workshops, and campaigns
• Preparing and procuring props and demos for sessions
• Represent the organization at sessions and provide basic support during activities

2. Communication & Outreach

• Draft and send messages, emails, and bulk WhatsApp updates to stakeholders in

  Marathi and English

• Manage invitation templates, follow-up messages, and session reminders
• Assist in community engagement through phone calls and in-person visits
• Maintain good relationships with local coordinators, society managers, and CSR teams

3. Canva & Content Support

• Create posters, invites, and updates using

  Canva

• Assist with social media content creation (optional, based on interest)
• Assist in developing ppt with training content
• Document event photos and basic details for reporting
• Coordinate creating, collection of printing collateral

Candidate Profile:

Must-Haves:

• 1–2 years of work experience in community coordination, outreach, or event support
• Ability to speak, read, and write in

• Confident in public speaking and conducting awareness sessions

• Own transport

Nice-to-Haves:

• Interest in sustainability, environment, or community work
• Prior experience working in an NGO, CSR project, or community outreach campaign
• Familiarity with Pune geography and local culture
• Can drive 4 wheeler (with valid license)
