We are seeking an exceptional Line Manager to build and guide our talented software development, support and operations teams in shaping the future of technology. What You will do:
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of 20+ engineers to achieve their highest potential while nurturing a culture of curiosity, innovation, engagement and excellence.
- Strategic Oversight: Oversee AI-driven software projects to ensure they meet on-time delivery and quality targets. Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of AI methodologies into development workflows, reinforcing Ericsson’s commitment to technology leadership and excellence in connectivity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to enhance operational workflows, optimize engineering processes, and drive efficiency across teams.
- Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy: Champion Ericsson's values of diversity and inclusion by creating an environment where individuals of all backgrounds feel empowered and valued.
- Performance Management: Establish quarterly objectives (OKRs), implement 360 feedback loops, and drive continuous improvement with data-driven dashboards.
- Technical Guidance: Stay current on industry trends (DevOps, SRE, AI/ML operations, cloud-native architectures) and champion best practices in coding standards, testing, and reliability.
You will bring:
- Technical Expertise: 10+ years of proven professional experience in software development, operations, or support engineering. Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and tools is essential. Experience leading organisations where Agile, SAFE, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, SaaS are employed.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively, leveraging both technical insight and interpersonal skills. Track record of fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Previous managerial experience is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, in English, to articulate vision, inspire teams, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Problem-Solving: Adept at strategic thinking and solving complex challenges in a dynamic environment.
- Cultural Competency: Commitment and ability to foster a workplace that values diversity, inclusion, and equity across all dimensions.
