Estimation Engineer

As a Cost Estimation Engineer, your role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for machine components and fabricated items, analyzing technical drawings and specifications, and performing reverse engineering for existing components. You will be responsible for developing project cost estimation and budgeting plans, implementing cost optimization strategies, and monitoring project costs to ensure adherence to budgets. Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors for quotations, negotiate pricing, select appropriate materials, and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM). Your understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly will be crucial, and you will use CAD tools for estimation and interpretation of engineering drawings. Supporting cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications Required: - Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. - 5-8 years of experience in estimation within pharma engineering or capital equipment industry. - Strong knowledge of reverse engineering and manufacturing processes. - Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office tools. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.,
