Job Summary The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, price sheets, and technical evaluations for earthing, lightning protection, and electrical projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with engineering, procurement, and sales teams. Key Responsibilities Review tender documents, drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and specifications for estimation scope. Prepare accurate cost estimates, material take-offs, and project costing sheets. Develop item-wise costing based on standards, market prices, and technical understanding. Coordinate with procurement for vendor pricing, delivery timelines, and product sourcing. Assist sales with technical clarifications, quotation preparation, and tender compliance. Maintain a library of cost data, price lists, and project estimation templates. Identify cost optimization opportunities without affecting quality. Maintain documentation and ensure timely submission of estimates.
1. Site Execution & Supervision Assist in executing electrical installation works at client sites. Supervise technicians, helpers, and contractors during installation. Ensure all work is performed as per engineering drawings and instructions. Support cable routing, earthing installation, LPS (Lightning Protection System) installation, and testing. 2. Testing & Measurement Perform basic electrical tests (earth resistance, continuity, insulation tests). Record measurements and compare with project specifications. Support the commissioning process under senior engineers guidance. 3. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with clients for daily site progress and material requirements. Communicate schedule updates to Project Manager / Service Manager. Work with Stores/Dispatch for material availability and site delivery. 4. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily site progress reports (DPR). Collect and compile service sheets, installation checklists, and test reports. Update photographs, measurements, and site status in required formats. 5. Safety & Compliance Follow all site safety rules and ensure technicians comply with safety guidelines. Use PPE and ensure safe working practices at all times. Report hazards, incidents, or deviations immediately.
1. New Participant Sourcing Research and identify potential individual and institutional participants for upcoming seminars. Build and maintain an up-to-date prospect list and outreach pipeline. Maintain a database of interested leads with status tracking (registered, invited, confirmed, no-show). 2. Data Management & CRM Updates Organize participant data segment-wise (region, industry, organization type, interest area). Ensure accurate, timely and consistent data entry in the CRM (lead/source, status, notes, follow-up dates). Keep participant lists, attendance logs and feedback records up to date. 3. Participant Communication Draft and send professional event emails (invitations, confirmations, reminders, post-event thank you). Coordinate bulk WhatsApp communications (reminders, venue updates, quick links) while maintaining etiquette and opt-out compliance. Ensure messages are consistent with marketing/brand templates and approved content. 4. Call Coordination Make reminder calls to registered participants 13 days before the seminar. Conduct post-seminar feedback calls to capture satisfaction, interest areas and potential business leads. Log all call outcomes and next steps in the CRM. 5. Post-Seminar Data Handling & Reporting Compile attendance sheets, feedback forms and follow-up action lists. Assist in basic analysis of seminar effectiveness (attendance %, satisfaction score, follow-up leads). Testing & Measurements Assist in conducting quality tests: Visual & physical inspection Continuity & resistance checks Coating thickness tests Mechanical strength tests (if applicable) Record test results accurately in QC reports. 5.
