ESTIMATION ENGINEER (FIRE & SAFETY)

WE ARE HIRING! Position: Estimation Engineer Location: Kunnamkulam, Kerala Priority: Candidates with previous UAE experience in the same field will be given preference. About the Company: Data Grid Labs functions as the extended office supporting all operational, financial, administrative, and partial sales activities for our parent company, Louis Fire & Safety (Abu Dhabi) . Louis Fire & Safety has over 26 years of expertise in the fire and marine safety industry. Headquartered in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi , with a dedicated team of 70 employees and two warehouses, the company specializes in fire system design, installation, maintenance, and marine certifications. Roles and Responsibilities: Understand project requirements and specifications. Determine key variables for cost estimation and other calculations. Gather first-hand information from sites, warehouses, or other venues. Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc. Prepare shop drawings and specifications to be submitted to Civil Defense authorities. Obtain and review offers and quotations from subcontractors and vendors. Perform risk analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Create and submit detailed cost estimations for projects and services. Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers. Provide consultation and planning support to the Engineering and Sales teams. Requirements and Skills: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Proven experience as an Estimator or in a similar role, preferably in the Fire & Safety industry. Familiarity with costing, budgeting, and estimation in the relevant sector. Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to lead and collaborate with teams. Ability to interact effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, and clients.
