Job Profile: Estimation Executive / Estimation Engineer

Estimation Executive/Engineer

•       Study project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and client requirements to prepare cost estimates.

•       Prepare and review tender documentation, proposals, and cost breakdowns.

•       Analyze material, labor, subcontractor, and equipment requirements.

•       Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations and pricing.

•       Evaluate technical feasibility and identify cost-saving opportunities.

•       Support project managers during bidding, negotiations, and client discussions.

•       Maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and standard estimation practices.

•       Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, safety norms, and company policies.

•       Track project cost variations and update estimates accordingly.

•       Prepare MIS reports on estimation accuracy and bid performance.

•       Strong analytical and numerical skills.

•       Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (Optional)

•       Good understanding of engineering drawings and project specifications.

•       Knowledge of industry standards, costing methods, and tendering process.

•       Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

•       Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

•       Attention to detail with ability to work under deadlines.

•       B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering field.

•       0–2 years of experience in estimation, costing, or tendering (freshers with strong aptitude may also be considered for Executive role).

•       Experience in automation, industrial projects, EPC, or related industries will be an added advantage.
