Equity Research Intern

Core Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis:Analyzing financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) to assess company performance and health.
• Financial Modeling:Building and maintaining financial models to forecast company performance and value.
• Research Report Preparation:Assisting in the writing and preparation of research reports, including daily analysis, stock of the week reports, etc.
• Industry and Company Research:Conducting in-depth research on specific industries and companies, including competitive analysis and market potential.
• Data Collection and Analysis:Gathering and interpreting data from various sources, including financial databases and market reports.
• Investment Thesis Development:Supporting the development and maintenance of investment theses for companies under coverage.
• Client Interaction Support:Assisting with client requests, presentations, and interactions.
• Market Monitoring:Monitoring stock and sector performance using both fundamental and technical analysis.
• Presentation Preparation:Assisting in the creation of presentations for investment committees and stakeholders.
• Database Maintenance:Helping to maintain a comprehensive database of research materials and industry information.
• Earnings Calls and Conferences:Participating in company earnings calls and investor conferences.
• Collaboration:Working with other team members to provide market insights and support client interactions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills: Essential for financial modeling, data analysis, and report writing.
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools: Required for financial modeling and data manipulation.
• Understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies: Important for analyzing company performance and making investment recommendations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills: Needed for interacting with clients and presenting research findings.
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies: Beneficial for understanding market trends and identifying investment opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
