Senior Equity Research Analyst – Technology Sector

• Equity Research:

   Conduct deep-dive analysis of technology sector companies, including financial performance, industry positioning, and market dynamics.

• Financial Modeling & Valuation:

   Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial models (DCF, comps, sensitivity analyses) to support investment recommendations.

• Research Reports:

   Draft and contribute to investment research reports, earnings notes, and sector outlooks used by institutional investors and internal stakeholders.

• Market Tracking:

   Monitor earnings, news flow, regulatory filings, and key developments affecting covered companies; provide timely insights to the senior analyst and NYC team.

• Collaboration:

   Work directly with senior analysts and investment bankers in NYC, ensuring alignment on research priorities and deliverables.

• Industry Engagement:

   Participate in earnings calls, webinars, and sector events to capture insights and integrate them into research outputs.

• Education:

   Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Master’s/MBA preferred.

• Certification:

   CFA designation or active candidacy (Level II/III preferred).

• Experience:

   3–6 years in equity research, investment banking, or related roles, with a strong focus on 

  technology sector coverage

Skills:

• Advanced financial modeling & Excel proficiency.
• Strong valuation skills (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
• Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters, or FactSet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft high-quality research reports

• Experience covering 

  U.S. equity markets

   or working with U.S.-based firms.
• Knowledge of 

  U.S. GAAP

   and SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).
• Prior exposure to SaaS metrics, internet platforms, or semiconductor industry trends.
• Strong ability to work independently while collaborating across time zones.
