Job Description – Portfolio Manager (Equity)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Portfolio Manager (Equity) to join our advisory team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research, portfolio management, and financial advisory, with proven expertise in delivering consistent returns and sound investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day equity portfolio activities and establish actionable plans for each project phase.

• Use metrics and data visualization tools effectively to report portfolio performance and support decision-making.

• Apply buy-and-hold strategies ranging from 14 days to 1–2 years.

• Provide financial planning and investment advisory services to clients across various stages of wealth.

• Prepare detailed financial statements, financial models, and in-depth equity research reports.

• Conduct valuation and peer comparison analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.

• Track global and local equity market events and assess their impact on portfolios and related asset classes.

• Analyse stock-specific and sectoral movements, including daily and monthly patterns.

• Generate new stock investment ideas and contribute to consistent quarterly portfolio returns.

• Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and templates while ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in financial planning, equity research, and investment management.

• Professional certification such as CFA, CFP, CMT, or CAIA (in good standing).

• Strong analytical, valuation, and financial modeling skills.

• Excellent understanding of equity markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks.

• Academic performance of 75% and above throughout education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

• Strong communication, presentation, and client advisory skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
