Job Summary:

Equity Dealer

Key Responsibilities:

Execute buy and sell orders on behalf of clients in equity and equity derivatives markets.
Monitor client positions and ensure adherence to risk limits and margin requirements.
Provide real-time market updates and stock recommendations to clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Generate revenue through client trades and cross-sell other financial products.
Stay updated on market trends, economic news, and stock performance.
Coordinate with back-office teams for trade confirmation and settlement-related activities.
Ensure all trades are executed in compliance with SEBI (or relevant regulatory authority) guidelines.
Assist clients with account opening and onboarding processes.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) and Series VII (Securities Operations and Risk Management) certifications are mandatory (India-specific).
Proven experience (13 years) as an Equity Dealer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of stock markets, trading platforms (e.g., ODIN, NSE NOW, NEST).
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment.
