Job Title: EHS Officer

Department: Operations / Projects

Base Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

Job Purpose:

The EHS Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards across project and site locations. The role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, client-specific requirements, and company policies to promote a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee EHS policies, procedures, and practices at all project sites.

• Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory EHS requirements and local safety regulations.

• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and regular training sessions for employees and subcontractors.

• Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near misses; recommend preventive and corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, and reports as required by the company and clients.

• Coordinate with project managers and teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Liaise with clients, vendors, and statutory authorities regarding EHS-related matters.

• Ensure the proper use, availability, and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment.

• Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

• Mandatory certification in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent recognized qualification.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience as an EHS Officer, preferably in construction, electrical, AV, or ICT project environments.

• Proven ability to implement and maintain EHS standards effectively.

• Strong understanding of national safety regulations and compliance requirements.
