Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws, CPCB/SPCB guidelines, and project-specific environmental conditions.
  • Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), risk assessments, and environmental audits.
  • Monitor air, water, soil, and noise quality parameters; coordinate with NABL-accredited labs for testing.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory documentation such as EC compliance reports, consent applications (CTE/CTO), waste manifests, and EMS documentation.
  • Oversee waste management: hazardous waste, solid waste, wastewater treatment, and sludge handling.
  • Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of pollution control systems (STP, ETP, dust suppression, DG stack monitoring, etc.)
  • Implement environmental management plans (EMP) at construction and operation sites.
  • Train site personnel on environmental best practices, safety protocols, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Liaise with government bodies (MoEFCC, Pollution Control Boards, Forest Department) for permits, inspections, and renewals.
  • Identify and drive initiatives for resource conservation, carbon reduction, and sustainable operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering (with environmental specialization); Master’s preferred.
  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in EPC, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar sectors.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, ISO 14001, and compliance processes.
  • Hands-on experience with environmental monitoring equipment and pollution-control systems.
  • Experience in preparing official reports and documentation for regulatory authorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; GIS knowledge is a bonus.
