Introduction:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Hydraulic Engineer with 3+ years of experience in the hydraulic field. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in hydraulic line routing, system layout design, and working knowledge intermittent in hydraulic circuits and component selection. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to support the design, development, and integration of hydraulic systems in mobile equipment applications. What you’ll do:
Design and route hydraulic lines, hoses, and tubing for machinery and equipment. Develop 2D and 3D hydraulic schematics and layouts using CAD tools (Preferred NX). Prepare technical documentation including BOMs, installation instructions, and test procedures. Interpret hydraulic circuit diagrams and translate them into physical routing. Select and specify hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, and fittings. Support the design of small-scale hydraulic systems, including pressure regulation, flow control, and return lines. Perform calculations related to flow, pressure drop, and hose sizing. Ensure routing meets functional, manufacturability, and serviceability requirements. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and production teams during system integration. Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Problem-solving mindset & Attention to detail. Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in hydraulic routing & Intermittent system design. Proficiency in CAD tools for hydraulic line routing and schematic development. Solid understanding of hydraulic principles, system dynamics, and fluid flow. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO, SAE) related to hydraulic systems. Basic knowledge of hydraulic circuit design for small systems or subassemblies. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic drawings. Hands on Experience with NX and Team Centre. Knowledge on mobile or heavy industrial equipment of hydraulic systems. Experience with documentation control, change management, or engineering release processes Strong communication and teamwork skills.
