Engineering Manager

As an Engineering Manager at the company, you will have the responsibility to optimize operations and ensure alignment with the Global Operations Organization. Your main focus will be on driving engineering projects that enhance the performance of plant manufacturing operations, process improvements, and standardization. You will also be responsible for continual improvements, manufacturing cost reductions, operational efficiencies, plant capacity expansion, and process readiness for new product developments. This role covers both TN sites with a team reporting to you. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with Global Operations Organization and Plant teams to deliver on capacity enhancement, productivity improvement, and technology upgrade projects for TN India plants. - Design and lead implementation of efficiency improvement projects such as cycle time reduction, waste elimination, kaizens, labor productivity improvements, and process standardization. - Develop plans to maximize asset utilization and manage capital budgets and proposals. - Collaborate with Operations Teams to drive line efficiencies and reduce waste. - Manage engineering contractors while ensuring statutory and legal compliance. - Lead improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. - Support Operations Stabilization for new machines and lines based on established productivity parameters. - Implement and manage engineering standards across the plants. - Coach and develop teams on technology matters and create manufacturing standards and SOPs. - Upgrade manufacturing equipment with kaizens, innovations, and technology upgrades. - Develop and maintain data on manufacturing standards with version controls. - Champion cost-saving project management and ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) - 12-15 years of work experience in auto ancillary, tool manufacturing, or ball manufacturing industry - Experience in managing shopfloor with blue-collar workforce In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving engineering initiatives that contribute to the success and growth of the company's manufacturing operations.,
