Engineering Leader

As an Engineering Leader at Delta Tech Hub, you will play a crucial role in providing technical leadership and coaching to team members. Your responsibilities will include building industry standard APIs and Integration Design Patterns, driving API quality standards, and establishing a culture of software craftsmanship best practices. You will engage in Agile software development activities and work with multi-cloud software architectural patterns like AWS and Salesforce. To excel in this role, you should have a BS/MS degree in a technical or scientific field with at least 10 years of experience in Java application development. You should also have experience with RESTful web services, SQL or NoSQL DBMSs, and software development methodologies such as Test Driven Development, Automation, Agile, and DevOps. Moreover, familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Salesforce is essential. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical leadership skills, excellent communication, and collaboration skills. Extensive knowledge of Java internals, JVM tuning, and troubleshooting is required. Experience with Spring Boot Framework, Microservices, RESTful APIs, Apigee, JBOSS, and No-SQL databases like Cassandra will be beneficial. Proficiency in UI design and development, especially with Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is preferred. Additionally, experience in Salesforce development, including Experience Cloud, CRMA, Lightening Web Component, Visualforce, Aura, and Apex, is highly recommended. The ability to work effectively in a team, solve complex problems, and adapt to new technologies is crucial. A customer-oriented approach, accountability, and partnership mindset are key attributes we are looking for in a candidate. If you have experience in the Airline domain, building flexible and robust APIs for business-critical applications, mentoring software developers, and working with cloud platforms like AWS and Redhat Openshift or Salesforce, it will make you stand out. Experience in microservice development, using No-SQL databases, and demonstrating a passion for delivering quality work with a sense of urgency will be highly valued in this role.,
