Engineering Leader

In your role as the Software Engineering Leader for Airline Products in Lab45 Platform at Wipro's innovation arm, you will be leading the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge software frameworks and platforms for airline suite of products. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design, development, and deployment of software frameworks and platforms for airline products - Driving technical vision, strategy, innovation, and roadmap for the Platform and frameworks - Collaborating with stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and provide technical solutions - Driving adoption of open source and championing inner sourcing - Leading, inspiring, and driving the success of team members - Evaluating modern technologies and providing recommendations to improve software development processes - Staying up to date with the latest software development trends and technologies - Reviewing and approving software design and code changes to ensure alignment with established standards and best practices - Developing and maintaining documentation for the software framework and platform - Modeling company values and behaviors to foster a culture of innovation, engineering excellence, and product inclusion - Driving the culture of creativity and accountability in running production systems reliability - Inspiring and growing future technologists through active mentorship programs and training sessions Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) or equivalent practical experience - Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in large-scale software development - Experience with software architecture and design influence - Experience handling multi diverse customers and expectations - Knowledge or prior experience in multiple programming languages, such as Java, .Net, and C++ - Experience defining and implementing PDLC and DevOps processes - Strong leadership skills and experience leading teams of software engineers - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies - Managing large-scale production environments - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues Preferred qualifications include: - Experience leading and managing a team of software engineers across multiple geographical locations - Experience taking ideas from inception to launch to widespread adoption - Championing major change and driving adoption across multiple organizations Technical Skills required: - Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot - Experience with microservices architecture - Knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for container orchestration - Experience with monolith applications - Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - Proficiency in PostgreSQL for database management - Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and processes Join Wipro's modern digital transformation journey and realize your ambitions in a business powered by purpose and reinvention.
