Engineering Leader

You will be part of Delta Tech Hub, contributing directly to Delta Air Lines" mission of connecting people and cultures globally through innovative solutions and customer experiences. As an Engineering Leader, your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical leadership and coaching to team members - Building industry standard APIs and Integration Design Patterns - Establishing software craftsmanship best practices - Engaging in Agile software development activities - Developing efficient software using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTFul APIs - Ensuring adherence to PCI rules and regulations - Coordinating activities with internal and external technology owners To qualify for this role, you need: - BS/MS degree in a technical or scientific field with 12+ years of relevant experience - Extensive experience in Java application development, RESTful web services, and SQL or NoSQL DBMSs - Experience with SDE, cloud platforms, and technical leadership - Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of Java internals, JVM tuning, and troubleshooting - Expertise in Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Experience with Salesforce development and object modeling What makes you stand out: - Experience in the Airline domain - Mentoring associate software developers - Microservice development on a cloud platform - Passion and sense of urgency in delivering quality work ID: DELVC12,
