Position Overview

The Engineering & Development Head will lead the design, innovation, and development of new products, processes, and technologies to meet the company’s strategic objectives. The role involves overseeing product lifecycle management, improving existing systems, ensuring quality, and driving engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities1. Leadership & Strategy

• Develop and execute the engineering and product development strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, designers, and R&D specialists.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.

2. Product Development

• Oversee the end-to-end product development cycle from concept to launch.
• Ensure timely delivery of prototypes, testing, and final products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like marketing, sales, and production for seamless execution.

3. Research & Innovation

• Identify new technologies, materials, and methods to enhance products and processes.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ innovations.
• Drive continuous improvement in product performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.

4. Process & Quality Management

• Implement robust engineering processes, documentation, and quality control systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot product issues and implement corrective actions.

5. Budget & Resource Management

• Prepare and manage the engineering and R&D budgets.
• Optimize resources, tools, and technologies to maximize productivity.

• Proficiency in CAD tools, simulation software, and project management tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
