Head of Engineering & Development will lead engineering, research, and development Role involves overseeing the design and development of manufacturing processes for product enhancements, new products, and product changes. The head of the department will also be responsible for managing the design of press tools, overseeing part costing and directing part design and simulation. A critical component of this role is leading customer-facing collaborations to optimize product design for components like Door Frames, Mudguards, Front Yoke, Cross Car Beam, Car divisional Channel.
15 -25 Years experience from Auto Industry. Extensive hands-on experience in sheet metal fabrication, Exposure in leading complex R&D projects from a conceptual stage to mass production.
Experience managing a team of engineers and designers.
Strong background in costing, budgeting, and project management.
Knowledge on ISO 9000/IATF 16949 requirements in terms of APQP,FMEA (Design/Process),PPAP
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and advanced simulation tools.
Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and an understanding of material science.
A comprehensive understanding of the entire manufacturing process, from raw material to finished product
