1.Design and Development: Design and develop document capture and data extraction workflows within IBM Datacap, including Datacap Studio, FastDoc, and Datacap Navigator.
2. Configuration: Configure and deploy Datacap components, including task profiles, rulesets, and the Rulerunner engine.
3.Customization: Develop custom rules and actions using VB.net,C#, and other scripting languages to extend Datacap functionality.
4. Integration: Integrate Datacap solutions with other systems, particularly IBM FileNet P8, and databases like SQL Server,DB2,Oracle.
5. Optimization: Configure and optimize OCR/ICR (Optical Character Recognition/Intelligent Character Recognition) engines (e.g., ABBYY, Nuance) for accurate data extraction.
6. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure the seamless functionality of Datacap environments.
7. Collaboration: Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective document capture solutions.
